Nine Oaks Fisheries Terms and Conditions

Self-Catering Holiday Accommodation (Updated May 2023)

Arrival & Departure

Keys are available from 4pm on your day of arrival. If we are not around the Fishing Lodge to greet you, please ring the `Enquiries’ bell on the wall next to the Fishing Lodge door.

Please hand in your keys to a member of staff, or post them through the front door letterbox, by 10am on your day of departure.

You are permitted to go fishing on site prior to your accommodation being available at 4pm and after 10am on your day of departure.

Bed Linen & Towels.

Bed Linen is provided in all accommodation along with 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person. Tea Towels are also provided. Just ask should you need fresh towels during your stay.

Please make us aware of all persons in your party before arrival to ensure all beds are made ready for you and towels are available.

Dogs.

A maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation are welcome. We do not allow any dogs listed under The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

Dogs must be supervised and kept on a lead at all times whilst outside of your accommodation.

Please do not allow dogs on the furniture.

Please bring your own bedding and towels for your dog/s.

We reserve the right to recover the costs of any damage or heavy soiling to the accommodation by your dogs.

You are expected to use doggy bags whilst walking your dog/s on-site or in the village and dispose of them in the outside bins.

Please do not allow your dog/s to swim in or drink from the lakes. We cannot be responsible for your dogs’ health and safety. Water treatments can be used to ensure the health of the fish. These treatments may harm your dog/s.

High Chairs & Cots.

Please request this be provided prior to your arrival.
Only the mattress is provided. Cot bedding is not provided. Electricity etc
This is provided within the cost of your holiday.

Car Parking

Please park sensibly in the Fishery Car Park. All vehicles are parked at the owners risk. CCTV is in operation.
Payment & Pricing

The requested deposit amount is required within 14 days of you making the booking, followed by full payment at least 28 days prior to your holiday commencing.

An invoice will be sent to you with a payment link to make your payment electronically via Stripe to your Credit or Debit Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Alternatively, you can complete a bank transfer or post a cheque. The details will all be available on your invoice for either option.

Should no deposit or full balance be received, your booking may be cancelled.

If the holiday accommodation becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, all monies paid will be refunded. No liability will be accepted obtaining alternative accommodation.

Catch & Release coarse and fly fishing is included in the cost of your holiday.

The price of your holiday will not be amended once booked, however, we reserve the right to amend prices for services that are not booked.

Accommodation

Please ensure the total number of persons in your party does not exceed the stated capacity of your accommodation. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any accommodation where the maximum occupancy level has been exceeded:

  • Craigfryn (2 persons)
  • Snowdrop (4 persons)
  • Caravans (4 persons)You agree to not part with possession, sub-let or share accommodation with anyone other than those declared in your party.No smoking inside the accommodation. Smoking is permitted outside. We ask that you use the sand buckets provided for your stubs.Please vacate your accommodation on the day of departure by 10am. You are welcome to stay on site to fish.Please follow the instructions inside each accommodation.
    Wi-Fi is provided free of charge and login details are provided inside the accommodation.You are responsible for any damage to your holiday accommodation during your stay. We reserve the right to recover these costs from you, including any additional cleaning costs.Should staff require access to your holiday accommodation during your stay, every endeavour shall be made to do so at your convenience. It is a condition of your stay that you will grant access.

We cannot guarantee the security of your personal possessions whilst within the curtilage of the property.

You agree to take good care of the accommodation and site facilities during your stay.

Fishing Lakes

Please note that there are no lifeguards at Nine Oaks Fisheries.

No swimming allowed at any time.

Children are to be accompanied and supervised at all times.

If you are fishing during your holiday, please ensure that you read The Anglers Code of Conduct on our website.

Night fishing is only permitted by prior appointment. Please ensure that you read The Night Fishing rules on our website.

Electric fencing may be active during your visit to protect the fish from predators. Your care and respect for the rules around the site are paramount to your safety.

Any payment for Catch & Take fishing is made daily to the bailiff.

Complaints

If for any reason you are unhappy with your holiday or accommodation, please speak to a member of staff, preferably whilst you are here. Every endeavour will be made to ensure you have a great time with us and become a valued returning customer.

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and that of your personal information. Please read our Privacy Policies on our website. Please direct any complaints to our staff as soon as possible to mitigate any loss or breach.

In General

Anglers and visitors enter The Fishery entirely at their own risk. We cannot be held liable for any personal injury, or damage to personal property or possessions due to circumstances beyond our control or by other visitors or other guests.

We reserve the right to withdraw facilities as needed to maintain property, the welfare of the fish or your health and safety.

The holiday cottages and caravans are located within the curtilage of The Fishery which contains 6 deep water lakes, a fast flowing stream with steep banks and electric fencing. Children MUST be accompanied and supervised at all times due to the risks associated with deep water lakes and electric fencing in The Fishery.

No swimming is allowed in the Fishing Lakes at any time.

Should any guest cause a nuisance, inconvenience, harassment or display aggressive behaviours towards any other guests, visitors, staff or our neighbours, we reserve the right to ask them to leave immediately without a refund.

If you decide to leave before the end of your holiday booking period, we are unable to offer you a refund.

We do not permit anyone who is subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 to visit or stay at Nine Oaks Fisheries.

We do not accept bookings from persons under the age of 18. We reserve the right to refuse bookings solely at our discretion.
